The time has come for us to stand united and get our rightful and much needed share from the Horizon 2020 programme. We owe hard work and dedication to millions of genetic disease sufferers and their families who are looking up to us, as a scientific community, to come up with the cures. Our efforts today could fund many, if not hundreds, of scientific researches in the field of genetics tomorrow, hopefully prompting new cures to be discovered and millions of sufferers/effected reaping the benefits.

The Human Genome project was the first step to solving genetic diseases, it mapped out the whole human genome allowing us to know what defects takes place in each disease, but now we have to transfer that abundant knowledge into developing cures for those genetic defects.  

EuroGene has already taken a step forward in this cause, but we need a large coalition so that our voices can be heard on the European forums. By standing united, we can create a presence which could result in research money for genetic disease funding.

Henceforth, lets join together for this noble cause and try to provide a cure for genetic diseases, whatever they may be. Please join the cause of EuroGene and also promote the project to as many contacts you may have.
