The following is a list of all the frequently asked questions. The questions have been answered accurately by a member of the EuroGene team. We hope we have answered your questions below, but if we haven't, please do not hesitate to email us your quiry. If I were to sign up, am I agreeing to some 'legal' contracts?
No. When you sign up, you will be agreeing to our Terms and conditions ONLY. As stated inside the Terms and Conditions, you would hold absolute right to enter/leave the EuroGene campaign as you please. The role you would be playing by signing up to our campaign is widening our support base and hence making our voice hear on the European Forum. What is EuroGene and why does it need me?
EuroGene is a campaign which strives to congregate all fellow individuals/ organisations, interested in genetic research, to collaborate and claim funding from the Horizon 2020 programme. Out of the €80bln available for research, we believe genetic research should get a significant share of the pot. We believe that genetic diseases are affecting millions of people worldwide, yet not enough funds are being inserted into the field. EuroGene NEEDS its fellow supporters to help make our voice heard, the larger the base, the louder our outcry. You would be helping us to get our voice heard inside the European forums! So please do your bit and generate hope for millions of people affected by genetic diseases.

What should I do if I dont understand the guidelines?
There is no reason to worry, the EuroGene team is always available to help with your queries. Simply send us an email, with whatever question or guideline you do not understand, and our team will do it's utmost best to reply to your email as soon as possible. Are there any deadlines to 'Signing Up'?
Well, the best case scenario would be to get as much support and backing as soon as possible. Hence we would be able to get our voices get heard earlier and increase our chances of getting a share of the €80bln available for research initiative. So, the sooner you can sign up, the better it is! So why not go to our 'Sign Up' page and playing your part in our campaign!
I am a Charity, what is in it for me?
The purpose of EuroGene is to claim a share of the €80bln available for the research initiative in Europe. When we have a share of the pot, its likely to be in millions/billions of euros. This money will then be given to genetic research charities and other gene therapy related programmes to help create advances in the fields of genetic research. From this, we hope that cures would be found for genetic diseases which would help millions of peoples worldwide. This will be decided by an independent body, later on in the future. Therefore, if you are a patient/ family orientated charity, a possible cure could be found for your patients! Similarly, if you are a research orientated society or have progressive ideas on advancing gene therapy, it would provide much-needed research money that you needed. Overall, as charities, we should all be thinking about the greater good. Above all, the thought of helping millions by just 'signing up' to our campaign is ethically satisfying! So lets all do our part and 'Sign Up'.
Is there anything EuroGene wants from me?
The EuroGene project would like support and backing of as much charities, organisations, individuals or researchers as possible. There are no charges upon joining the cause of EuroGene, neither will there be any financial requirements need off you in the future. EuroGene will accept generous donations, but it will not charge anything from its supporters. EuroGene would like you to promote us as much as possible and also help us create as wide a base as possible. Have you done your bit yet, 'Sign Up' to the EuroGene right now.
How do I submit my application?
All that you would have to do to support us would be to go to our 'Sign Up' page and fill the form out, it should take maximum 5 minutes. This would enable us to put you in our database and count you in as our supporter. So why not have a quick look and 'Sign Up' now?
Where are the Terms and Conditions?
The 'Terms and Conditions' is a .pdf file that is situated right above the form on the 'Sign Up' page. It has been highlighted in red to make sure our supporters have the chance to read upon the Terms and Conditions and sign up without any hesitation. The terms and conditions can be downloaded and printed, and if subject to any form of changes, the supporters will be notified beforehand to inform them of the chages. The supporters will always have their non-quibble right to leave the campaign.
How will I know if my application has been accepted?
After signing up, the EuroGene team will send you a email/ letter of appreciation for your support. Then, you will have officially been signed up and you name will enter our supporter's database. If you haven't received a email/ letter of appreciation yet, chances are that EuroGene team is backed up with applications and will reply to you as soon as possible. So why not 'Sign Up' and join us in our mission to help millions worldwide!
My application has been rejected, what do I do?
Rarely would EuroGene team reject your application. If your application was to be rejected, it would have to be extenuating circumstances. These circumstances would be highlighted in the rejection email, but you wil ALWAYS have the chance to repeal the verdict and apply again. Bearing in mind, that if your application was rejected due to some extreme circumstances, you will not be allowed onto the supporters database, as EuroGene is not prepared to tarnish the reputation of the campaign nor of our other supporters.
Will my contribution help? We are only one person/ charity?
We, at EuroGene, simply refuse this self-doubting, defeatist attitude. We believe that every small drop makes an ocean, every brick makes a wall and every journey begins with that one little step and that certain individual. If we were to rely upon this attitude, NOTHING would be done in our world, researchers would give up, charities would not exist, the world would not function as it is. So therefore, 'Sign Up' to our campaign now to be that one drop, that one brick, that one individual who can make a difference. If you dont make a difference to the world, you will be making a heap of difference to us!
I would like to do more than just be a supporter?
We would LOVE for you to contribute more to our campaign. Simply write us an email about what could you do and what skills do you have that will help EuroGene. Our main intiative is to be more widely spread and recognised, hence any efforts to promote us would be absolutely welcome. We will enlist you onto our employers database and will update you accordingly.
Is there any underlying political/ religious aspect to EuroGene?
The EuroGene project is COMPLETELY independent to all religious/ political agenda or bias. EuroGene does not distinguish any group, neither ethnicity, nationality, age, beliefs, sexuality, political beliefs nor any other category. We value all our supporters as equal, who all have a equal say in our policies and agenda. We will not dismiss the views of smaller charities/ individuals in favour of larger charities/ co-orporations. We will decide upon the best way forward for EuroGene and will act accordingly.
